Nelson, a fourth generation president of the oldest family-owned and managed homebuilding and land development organization in North Texas actively leads all aspects of this 67 year old organization.

Since assuming the responsibilities of President in 2000, Nelson has lead the organization in building two additional brands (Rendition Homes and Rendition LUXURY Homes), increasing the company’s land development portfolio, expanding into the mortgage and title industry, as well as the home and automobile insurance industry.

Nelson remains active in the home building industry, with distinction as a progressive and innovative member of the National Association of Home Builders, and Builder’s “20”. He is a former Board Member for both the Certified Master Builder Corporation, as well as the Greater Fort Worth Builders’ Association. In addition, Mr. Mitchell is a current member of the Greater Fort Worth/Tarrant County Builders’ Association and the Young President’s Organization.
